This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from my-wall-clock.com (the "Site"), operated by IC-Expert LLC ("we", "us", "our"), a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States.
1. Personal Information We Collect
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies installed on your device. As you browse the Site, we also collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as "Device Information".
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
-
"Cookies" are data files placed on your device or computer that often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies and how to disable them, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
-
"Log files" track actions occurring on the Site and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
-
"Web beacons", "tags", and "pixels" (such as the Meta/Facebook Pixel and Google Ads tag) are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site and interact with our advertising.
When you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (payment card details are processed directly by our payment processors and are not stored on our servers), email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as "Order Information".
When we talk about "Personal Information" in this Privacy Policy, we are referring to both Device Information and Order Information.
2. How We Use Your Personal Information
We use the Order Information we collect to fulfill orders placed through the Site (including processing payment, arranging shipping, and providing invoices and order confirmations). Additionally, we use Order Information to:
- Communicate with you about your order and customer service matters;
- Screen orders for potential risk or fraud;
- Send you marketing communications about our products and promotions (only when in line with the preferences you have shared with us); and
- Comply with our legal obligations, including tax and accounting requirements.
We use the Device Information we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address) and, more generally, to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).
3. Sharing Your Personal Information
We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information as described above. Because we operate a direct-to-consumer e-commerce business that relies on external fulfillment partners, we share your Order Information (such as your name, shipping address, and email address) with our fulfillment partners (including partners located outside the United States) strictly for the purpose of processing, manufacturing, packing, and shipping your order.
We also share Personal Information with the following categories of third parties:
-
Shopify, which powers our online store. You can read more about how Shopify uses your Personal Information here: https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.
-
Payment processors (such as Shopify Payments, PayPal, or similar) to process your payment securely.
-
Google Analytics to help us understand how our customers use the Site. You can read Google's privacy policy here: https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/. You can opt out of Google Analytics here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
-
Advertising partners (such as Meta/Facebook, Google Ads, TikTok) to deliver targeted advertising and measure campaign performance.
-
Email marketing providers to send you order confirmations and, where you have opted in, promotional communications.
We may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights, property, or safety or that of our customers or others.
4. Behavioral Advertising
As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. For more information about how targeted advertising works, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative's ("NAI") educational page at networkadvertising.org.
You can opt out of targeted advertising by using the links below:
You can opt out of some of these services through the Digital Advertising Alliance's opt-out portal at: optout.aboutads.info.
5. Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control
Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals. There is no industry standard for how businesses should respond to DNT signals, and our Site does not currently change its behavior when it receives a DNT signal.
However, we do honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal transmitted by supported browsers and extensions. When we detect a GPC signal from a California resident, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information from that browser.
6. Data Retention
We retain your Personal Information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and to comply with our legal, accounting, tax, and reporting obligations. Specifically:
-
Order Information: retained for up to 7 years after your last purchase to comply with U.S. tax and accounting obligations.
-
Marketing data: retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion, and typically purged within 24 months of inactivity.
-
Device Information and analytics: retained for up to 26 months, in line with standard analytics provider defaults.
-
Customer service correspondence: retained for up to 3 years for quality assurance and dispute resolution purposes.
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us (see the "Contact Us" section below).
7. Data Security
We implement reasonable and appropriate administrative, technical, and physical security measures designed to protect your Personal Information against loss, theft, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights Under California Law (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the "CCPA"), grants you specific rights regarding your Personal Information. This section applies only to California residents.
